This monitor set works well. We can hear clearly on the receivers anywhere in the house. It is more clear than the other monitor set we have. We bought both sets last month.
The frequencies this set uses are 49.85 and 49.88 MHz.

I love this one. I was reading tons of reviews and this one looked like it was the best. the price was great. I used it now for the past 4 month and never had a problem.I have to turn it all the way down because I can hear my son every time he moves. love it !

This monitor is very clear, very nice, dilutes background noises, and picks up baby sounds clearly. It doesn't hum or squeal like our old monitor did. I would absolutely recommend this monitor for the price!!!

These monitors are great! They pick up every little peep from our baby but don't seem to transmit any extra sounds or noise. When the baby's quiet, we don't notice the monitors. The receivers can be plugged into the wall or run off of batteries, so you can carry them with you or easily move them from room to room. They work all over both levels of our home.
The transmitter unit has a nice night light on it that turns itself off after 10 or 15 minutes. If the transmitter is turned off or switched to the other channel, the receivers will put out static, which I think is a great warning that something's wrong.
Once in a great while we have picked up static from somewhere or something, but it remedies itself. We also sometimes use a white noise machine in the baby's room, and the monitor is just doing its job but ends up constantly transmitting that sound, too.
I highly recommend these monitors.

Works like a charm. No static (unless you insist on putting hand-held units next to appliances). This is a replacement for the same model. Base wore out after constant use and abuse for 3.5 years. New base works with old hand units, so now we have units on all 3 floors, without out having to carry them around. Also works great across the courtyard when we are visiting neighbors.
