Hurts my daughter's feet September 7, 2010 Deborah J. Denny (CA) Seems like a great item, and I purchased it based on other reviews. However, the textured (no-slip?) surface hurts my 4-year-old's bare feet when she gets on it to brush teeth or wash hands. I will be returning it and trying something else.
Too short to do any good August 31, 2010 Leslina (Texas) We agonized over which stool to buy our 2 yr old daughter. We wanted one that could be used to help her reach the toilet and later the sink as she got older. It's great for reaching the toilet and even eventually the light switch. But it's very short for trying to reach the sink.
I do like the wide base (although she's still fallen off of it) and the rubber top.
Everything I wanted August 24, 2010 Sydney (St. Louis, MO USA) I bought this in white ann love it! My 2 year old got a wood 2 step Stool for his birthday and would carry it everywhere. But it had sharp corners and was very heavy. He tripped and fell on it once and I said "that's it, we're shopping for a new one". This one is perfect, rounded corners, lightweight and a slip proof base. My son carries it all around the house and if he falls with it it's no big deal.
helpful and safe July 3, 2010 Maryellen Cummings (Ohio) This stool works great for getting on and off the potty. I like that the top is skid proof and the base is wide to allow for stability.
Short June 28, 2010 Cooper (Southern California) I purchased this with the matching potty seat for the toilet. I love the skid resistance top and bottom as well as how light weight the product is. My 21 month old picks it up to turn the light on and off in the bathroom and then he takes it back to the toilet. I do wish the item was a little taller or at least had the option of being taller. We started integrating the potty training process with my son at 16 months, he is now 21 months and still too short to sit on the toilet (even with the stool). The toilet in his bathroom is also a little shorter then a "normal toilet" (approx 16.5"). Since he prefers to use the toilet as opposed to the potty chair (BabyBjorn) he started out with we hoped this would be an easy way for him to sit on the seat by himself. Unfortunately he is too short, however he is able to step onto the stool when he is finished. The height of the stool is 6", it would have been perfect at a height of 8". We are just going to have to wait until he grows into it.
