5 out of 5 stars I now like Huggies again.   January 12, 2007

I've been using both Pampers Swaddlers, generic brands, regular Huggies and Huggies Supreme since my baby was born but now she's solely on Huggies Supreme. Some generic brands were ok but didn't absorb as much, or stretch to fit correctly, or ripped, but that's we expected for the price. Pampers Swaddlers has the weave that sticks to the skin when there was a dirty diaper. Regular Huggies had some crystal like particles that formed on her skin everytime there was a wet diaper. I stopped using Huggies until a friend recommended this when she was 4 months old and was in between sizes. This was the perfect size, no crystals, absorbs well, and is also really soft. Better than expected.

5 out of 5 stars Hands down... the best diapers for us   December 11, 2007

I have 23 month old twins and over the course of their lives, I feel like I've tried just about every brand of diapers out there. We started in Pampers and then when they got about 6 months old, we changed to store-brands, some were okay, some were horrible. However, I noticed about 2-3 months ago that those store brands were always leaking at night. We did try Huggies Overnights, but I found that it's just a pain to have daytime and nighttime diapers. We tried regular Huggies, but there were still a few leaks.

About a month ago, I exclusively switched to the Huggies Supreme and I am so happy that I did. We now have very few leaks. I have one of each (boy and girl), and the Huggies Supreme works so well on each of them. Yes, they are a little more expensive. With the Amazon subscription, I am paying about 28c a diaper. That's just about a cent less than Walmart, but I'm not having to lug them home. Having them come to my door is a bigger plus that you might think. Plus, they are just so darn cute. They are very soft and cushy and I just feel good about putting them on my babies (as silly as that may sound).

5 out of 5 stars Worth the extra money   May 31, 2010

When my wife and I had our first child, we started out using Pampers diapers, because that's what we had used in the hospital. While those diapers were adequate, we didn't really like the way that they forced our daughter to waddle with her knees turned out once she started learning to walk. I saw some Huggies Supremes advertising a more shaped fit in their toddler sizes, and decided to try a package.

What a difference it made! Not only did she walk more easily, but the diapers also had a significantly higher capacity, meaning that a single diaper would usually last through the night without overflowing. In addition, the fit was better to the point that poop explosions became a thing of the past. It was really nice not having to change soiled clothing along with the diapers.

Other parents we know report similar experiences. When our second child came along, there was no question - he started using Huggies Supremes right from the start.

Modern diapers have come a long way from the old cloth diapers, so here are a few tips for using them.

- The absorbent material in modern diapers is so effective that the diaper won't feel wet, and won't release any urine odor. The way to tell that the diaper needs to be changed is to squeeze slightly at the front of the crotch - on boys, a little higher, just above the private parts. If it feels like it did when the diaper was put on, it's still dry. If it feels more full and squishy, like a gel, it's wet. Poop you'll still have to tell by smell and the child's behavior.

- When putting these diapers on, stretch the elastic across the child's back slightly, and make sure the front is also snug when velcroing the tabs shut. This will help minimize the chance of leaks at the waist or leg holes.

- A couple tricks for diapering in general: when changing a diaper, I spread the clean diaper out under the child first, before removing the dirty diaper. After undoing the tabs, I grab both ankles in my left hand, lift a couple of inches, remove the dirty diaper, and clean the child from the back forward before lowering the child's behind onto the clean diaper. For a boy, put a wipe over the front while doing the change to avoid fountains.

These large boxes contain two clear plastic bags with half the diapers in each, at least in the sizes I've ordered (2, 3, and 4). The bags have perforations and act as fairly convenient dispensers after removal from the box.

Huggies Supremes do cost a bit more than most other brands, but you will probably also use fewer diapers because of their larger capacity. Add to that the reduced chances of soiling baby's clothes, and they are well worth it!

I love the softness of these. I haven't had a problem with them at night as long as I wrap the tabs so that the legs are snug against my daughter's skin.

5 out of 5 stars no leak, no rash, so far so good.   January 31, 2010

switched from Pampers Cruiser due to their recent "upgrade." Was a little bit worry about the change first, but Huggies Little Movers have done well so far. The only slight difference I felt was the 'bunny ears' you use to secure the diaper around baby's waist seem shorter compared to Pampers, but still.. functional-wise, I have no problem w/ it.
